Just a couple of things....

First, it is probably a good idea to remind people that your system was running
perfectly fine one day and since turning it on the next day you've be plagued with
plasmashell crashes.  As you've noted in the user's list the only thing you know
changed on your system was google-chrome-stable, leptonica, and tbb being updated.

I don't know if this is possible, but can the Intel device be disabled in the BIOS as
a test?
