Changing the browser default will not remove or otherwise make it unavailable for your installation. People who have a preference for one browser or another will still be able to use their browser of choice... quite easily in fact. I view this action as an opportunity to give some well deserved exposure to a browser that makes use of kde based technologies. Seems to me that should be part of our mission. Firefox and Chrome/Chromium are both well established and known.
