So: - kmail defines itself internally as "kmail2" - the documentation is the documentation for "mail" - the desktop file for kmail (installed under /usr/share/applications/ org.kde.kmail.desktop) correctly specify the key X-DocPath=kmail/index.html - then probably the key above is not considered right now. Possible candidate: the handler for help:/ defined inside kguiaddons, src/ util/urlhandler.cpp Regarding kontact, the usual "Help" menu does not even appear. According Laurent it is a known bug but lower priority than other issues.
