I think I mentioned it here in the past; I remember something like this osme time ago, before Qt 5.6 and Plasma 5.6 and some kernel/drm versions (not sure which one fixed it). I could type again in the lock screen window after sending a SIGHUP signal to kscreenlocker (kill -HUP).
