but "TearFree" don't solve my machine completly freezing due heavy IO shortly ater KDE login while i have "TearFree" enabled on SandyBrdige/IvyBridge enabled the last 5 years as well as DRI3 enabled long ago
can't remember a update wtih such a bad impact as Xorg 1.18.2 "masked" as minor-update has (except the kernel some times ago freezing machines due raid-check)
