I was running kcalc-15.12.1-1.fc23.x86_64. I was able to downgrade to 
kcalc-15.04.2-2.fc23.x86_64, which looks pretty close to the F22 version, but 
it didn't change anything. If nobody else is having this problem, then I must 
have somewhere set some configuration option that disables them, but I haven't 
been able to find it. It is certainly not a critical issue, but it makes the 
buttons pretty useless.
