Hi, I have been suffering for a lag in the sound events for a few releases now which seemed to be getting progressively worse, up two/three seconds at times. I thought I would give kde 4.9.90 a test so installed F18 RC and in the meantime updated to 4.9.95. Alas the problem was still there. Over the past months I had been working to try and find a solution to this and scouring kde.bugs but never came up with an answer until now. Today I read that Pulseaudio 3.0 had been released so I rebuilt the F19 RPM and success! the terrible delays have gone :-) still testing but it looks promising. Maybe this will help others who have such bad delays in the sound events.
