BTW, while you are thinking on those lines, it's quite hard to get the panel with calendar and resource definitions to go fairly small - it seems to say 'so far and no further, or I'll close altogether'. This is is almost-full- screen size (so I can pick up on problems showing in gkrellm). The section panel and this resource panel take up approximately half of the space. The problem appears to be that the character size for the resource panel cannot be forced to a smaller size. If you want a screenshot I'll happily send it to you.
