I'm curious about this too, specifically in Koji... Does it require 
a patched version (or replacement for) the buildSRPMfromSCM task? Does 
it somehow reconstruct a tarball and patches from the exploded git tree, 
so that you end up with a conventional SRPM containing Source0: and 
Patch*: tags? Or something different?
