Very interesting view point. never thought of integrating hardware and
the simulator like this. Till date gnusim8085 has been a tool to learn
fundamentals of computer architecture and ALP using the 8085 proc. We
have wide user base which in turn means loads of schools still use the
8085 to teach fundamentals of microprocessor programming using 8085.

Neverthless, this is an interesting thought and am CC'ing the dev list
for taking this discussion or getting it implemented.
