Hmmm. I don't think that's the original intent of the three-product proposal -- I was thinking more in line with the pets-vs-cattle distinction Joe brings up. Under that idea, there may actually end up being some overlap in that both products are "serving" something, but the distinction is in the approach. The server product would likely be more traditional/conservative and ours more exploratory. It may be that as we develop the product definitions, the idea you're suggesting comes out to make the most sense. But, if the majority of the group thinks the other way, would you still be interested in working in this direction? (No hard feelings either way!) Also I was kind of hoping that we'd never have to worry about running on bare metal, but maybe that's fantasy. :) -- Matthew Miller ☁☁☁ Fedora Cloud Architect ☁☁☁ <mattdm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> _______________________________________________ cloud mailing list cloud@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/cloud Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct
