I switched to LXDE, as there have not been any successful Xfce builds
for a while....
LXDE prompted me for config from the serial console. It did not bring
up the config on the screen.
I did not set the root password, and with the install script is
specified nopassward for root, but something still got set for the root
password. Fortunately, I set my userid up with admin rights, so it was
able to reset the root password.
I did not see Detroit listed in the list of US cities. It has aways
been there in the past...
As in the past, the USB disconnected. This time, 30 min of no activity:
Feb 17 10:35:23 localhost kernel: [ 3126.552495] usb 3-1: USB
disconnect, device number 2
Feb 17 10:35:23 localhost kernel: [ 3126.565511] usb 1-1: USB
disconnect, device number 2
Feb 17 10:35:23 localhost kernel: usb 3-1: USB disconnect, device number 2
Feb 17 10:35:23 localhost kernel: usb 1-1: USB disconnect, device number 2
I had turned screensave off, and the screen was still showing the
terminal window I had left open. I unplugged the keyboard and mouse,
reinserted them and no response on the screen. USB has definitely
stopped working.
I hope this gets fixed soon.
Oh, still the font problem with Firefox and my netgear gateway.
