That's the precedent that concerns me.

So which is the worse scenario?

1. Providing no support at all to MP3 users?

2. Encouraging MP3 users to break the law?

3. Pointing MP3 users to a legal solution that privileges a particular vendor -- with the possibility of including other vendors later?

There are no easy answers here. If there we're, we'd have solved the problem by now.
