Use 'ethtool' or 'mii-tool' to force duplexing. (This is especially true if you start using the tg3 driver instead - it does not support kernel module options for duplex settings.) B. Add the option 'auto_speed=0'. This is not intuitive and took me parsing the source of the module to find it :-) Cheers, Doug -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 7.0.3 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBPs4Yx5938qfSpraDEQKXEACg7kf0I7X7PkdQN3HhqYPZ4D98Sv0AoPvM hIG1Z2qE/cQ3cP6+Nxeqm/v4 =8WCd -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------ This email, and any included attachments, have been checked by Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition (Version 8.0), AVG Server Edition 6.0, and Merak Email Server Integrated Antivirus (Alwil Software's aVast! engine) and is certified Virus Free.
