Hi Dominique, I too have a cluster using broadcom tg3 cards and they hang during reboot. I just discovered that the card works OK if you have rev-5002 but not if you have rev-5003. I have updated the kernel to 2.4.18-27 and -28 and the cards still show the problem. I looks like my problem is not similar to yours but it seems that tg3 is the common cause. good luck with your solution. I still have to find mine.
