Some updates: > behaves properly when installed. Other types of installation > (ftp/nfs) do work so my guess is that there is a problem I tested the distribution with the command: anaconda --test --debug --method nfs:///opt/Head-End/build/1.3dev Where the iso-image is, and now the error-message is (in the same stage as earlier, just after the root-password): Unable to read header list... I reran it attaching strace -e open -f -p <pid> but the only stuff was a heap of failed open-commands for /usr/share/pixmaps/{gnome|default}. Could these missing images be the reason? > # /usr/share/comps-extras/getfullcomps.py comps.xml \ > /opt/Head-End/build/1.3dev/buildroot i386 > > The output from this is added properly to the comps.xml > which is generated dynamically from several other > xml-files. I had some CRITICAL ERROR-messages from failed dependencies here (the nonrelevant errors I mentioned in the earlier posting). I added those packages to the distro, but this did not help. I would really appreciate if someone more knowledgeable could shed some light as to what causes the aforementioned error. Poltsi -- Paul-Erik Törrönen, Cardinal Information Systems Ltd.
