RE: CD-installation with rebuilt anaconda problem

Some updates:

> behaves properly when installed. Other types of installation

I tested the distribution with the command:

anaconda --test --debug --method nfs:///opt/Head-End/build/1.3dev

Where the iso-image is, and now the error-message is (in the same
stage as earlier, just after the root-password):

Unable to read header list...

I reran it attaching strace -e open -f -p <pid> but the only stuff
was a heap of failed open-commands for /usr/share/pixmaps/{gnome|default}.

Could these missing images be the reason?

I had some CRITICAL ERROR-messages from failed dependencies here
(the nonrelevant errors I mentioned in the earlier posting).
I added those packages to the distro, but this did not help.

I would really appreciate if someone more knowledgeable could shed
some light as to what causes the aforementioned error.
