I 'found' the problem after some help of Taylor (tnhx), my usage of the anaconda rawhide-packages did the damage. The reason why I used the rawhide-packages was that the busybox source-rpm from the 8.0-distro did not compile so I took all the anaconda-related packages from rawhide. I also had to comment out the lines 229 and 244 from the splitdistro script, as these produced non-critical errors when running for a slimmed-down distribution with only one filled installation CD-directory (I'll post the list when ready).
