Hi folks - this little query has been bugging me for a while, and I
haven't seen anything about it in the recent list archives....
I'm building customised (pre-updated) 7.3 discs on a fully-updated 7.3
platform, using "buildinstall" and friends.
The whole process appears to work fine, with no unexpected errors, but I
noticed that my "stage2.img" is always about 10Mb smaller than the
original one (ie 42Mb versus 52Mb in the original distro).
Why is this, and should I worry about it?
[ The resulting CDs also seem to work, but I can't help wondering if
something's "missing"! Thanks in advance for your help. ]
