I tried making this motherboard's sound chipset work with the
sound/pci/hda drivers found here:

Linux xxx 4.5.0-rc6-sd #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Mar 1 14:16:46 PST 2016 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

 ...but  no dice.

Seeing the lack  of  response in both alsa-users  and alsa-devel, I'm
wondering if I've offended someone.  If so, I apologize.
