"There is something wrong" does not translate to "there is something wrong
with Alsa, which is what you have been claiming. It is certainly true that
sound in Linux is problematic, but the problem is wide ranging. It is a
problem with sound card manufacturers refusing to release information. (I
remember writing to MAudio asking what file on their windows disk was the
firmware, and they wrote back and said that that was proprietary, and refused
to tell me. Lunatic.
Sometimes it is the alsa setup, or more likely the lack of proper
documentation of alsa.
Sometimes it is the "helper" programs like pulseaudio that get in the
way.sometimes it is the software you are using (like they still have not, 10
years after oss disappeared as the default on linux, managed to convert their
program to alsa.
Sometimes it is a hardware bug. Sometimes it is an alsa bug.
