That's it? No volumes or anything? Did you try to write a different
value to that control that the default?

Check the mixers first.

Other than that, it would be interesting to know if the device works
without any 3rd party driver on Windows or OS X. Some devices do need
special quirks to make them work correctly, and maybe yours is one of
them. In that case, you could trace the USB communication of a virtual
machine with a different OS. But probably it's something much simpler.
