Problems using ALSA with IDT 92HD89B

Hello,

I need help configuring ALSA.

I am a test software writer and I wrote tests for the sound cards of different boards we produce.
Actually I have 2 boards with identical codecs/HDA controllers but with different pins routed from the codec to the plugs.
On one of the 2 boards, my software runs properly and on the other, it doesn't.
Can you tell me the place, where the mapping/routing table is defined?
I need to fix this table to get the other board working properly.
I know that it is not in the UEFI, because with an older ALSA package, none of the 2 boards worked - so there must be a difference in the routing/mapping table that is accessed by ALSA.
Please give me a hint where I can find what I'm searching for
Or is there any automatic detection implemented in ASLA? If yes, this seems not to work in any case.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best Regards
Thomas Frei
