Just post the contents of /proc/asound/cards, and the output of 'aplay -l'.
Output of those both commands are attached. Also output of alplaymidi -l that
shows that the card doesn't show up as a midi device there.
Also I reran the lsubs -v with the new kernel if Clemens want to have a look.
Then I tried to play the card with:
aplay -D plughw:CARD=SD50,DEV=0 Arne.wav
without any output while the similar command
aplay -D plughw:CARD=UA25EX,DEV=0 Arne.wav
worked without problems. It's almost sure that there is a problem with playing
through that card, I could hear it's demo tracks just fine.
