I am confused... Are you saying that the Xonar D1 doesn't support a LFE channel? Because by "3", I really mean "stereo + LFE".

Ah, I see. I already tried replacing "plughw:0" with "default", without success of course...

My intention here is also to preserve the LFE channel from the 5.1 stream and send it to my subwoofer, rather than downmixing everything to only 2 channels ("stereo"). Will using "dmix:0" provide 2.1 audio, please?
