How > can I configure the clock source? > I don't have a 9652, so some hints only. Start with: $ amixer -c X contents where X is your card number acc. to /proc/asound/cards. Read through the output until you find the desired control, e.g. samplerate. Then do: $ amixer -c X cset numid=Y Z Y is the ID of the control and Z is the index value to use - amixer will tell you those two.
