Hi, I would like to use dbmeasure to get correct information for my soundcard, an Asus USB device. The sound is quite loud at 25 % in PulseAudio, and it is muted below 25 %. The sound is extremely loud at 100 %, because the Asus card has a built-in "headphone amplifier". Is there any chance of damaging the microphone input by using dbmeasure. Is there a way to make dbmeasure always do some software attenuation? Best wishes, Marius
