i'm using snd_aloop to record what flashplayer plays inside the web browser by running FLASH_ALSA_DEVICE=hw:1,0,0 chromium and i've tested it with arecord -f cd -t wav -D hw:1,1,0 | aplay while it do work, but has a significant lag, i.e. the sound i hear is what should have played in the flashplayer about two or more seconds ago. everything works fine without using the loop device, of course. so, is it a general problem or i'm the only one who's suffering from the feature(or bug)? and if that's a feature, how should i record the sound that the system is playing right now? i wish i could do it without a sound server. things below may contain some information helpful. 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02) Subsystem: Device 1991:5622 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 40 Memory at d0440000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel Kernel modules: snd-hda-intel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Try before you buy = See our experts in action!
