module snd_aloop has a significant lag

  i'm using snd_aloop to record what flashplayer plays inside the web
browser by running
	FLASH_ALSA_DEVICE=hw:1,0,0 chromium
and i've tested it with
    arecord -f cd -t wav -D hw:1,1,0 | aplay
while it do work, but has a significant lag, i.e. the sound i hear is
what should have played in the flashplayer about two or more seconds
ago. everything works fine without using the loop device, of course.
  so, is it a general problem or i'm the only one who's suffering from
the feature(or bug)? and if that's a feature, how should i record the
sound that the system is playing right now? i wish i could do it
without a sound server.
