I've reported this bug two months ago, but there was no reply. I hope someone here might know what's causing this. In my ~/.asoundrc I've put: defaults.pcm.rate_converter "samplerate_best" in order to get the best possible resampling quality. However, when I do that, every time I start playing something in Amarok, at the start a loud *click* noise is heard. This happens only at the very start of a song. If I comment out the above line in .asoundrc, the clicking goes away.
