Sorry, but that doesn't answer my question: Why does Skype see this device (i.e. it is the the list of available output devices), and alsamixer does not? Actually, that is not related to to .asoundrc files, as even if I remove them, I still see in alsamixer all my devices but the bluetooth headset.
