It was something that was discussed somewhere else, maybe here, or on
the jack-devel or lad list.

According to wikipedia, it must be Hi-Speed
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB
But you must first be sure than the card is capable of that. It seam
realistic to me, but I don't own such a card and I don't checked the
alsa card matrix.
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Main

Also, be aware than on the wikipedia article,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB#Device_classes
they mention the Audio class. For what I know, also something that was
discussed somewhere on one of the 3 mentioned email listes, the audio
class is not supported by an USB3 device. This is why no usb3 device
are supported by alsa at that time, for what I know. The alsa team have
other things to do than to fight with non documented devices.

Now, what will append if you plug an audio usb1 or 2 device into an usb3
hub? I have no idea. I guess it will not work well because the
snd-usb-audio device is made to work with usb1 and 2. But I can be wrong
on this.
