Hello, I need help to get my ISA PnP card with es1688 and es968 chips working. If I loat the module: root@zly-hugo:/home/hugo# modprobe -v snd-es1688 insmod /lib/modules/2.6.31-17-generic/kernel/sound/isa/es1688/snd-es1688-lib.ko insmod /lib/modules/2.6.31-17-generic/kernel/sound/core/snd-hwdep.ko insmod /lib/modules/2.6.31-17-generic/kernel/sound/drivers/opl3/snd-opl3-lib.ko insmod /lib/modules/2.6.31-17-generic/kernel/sound/isa/es1688/snd-es1688.ko nothing happens - no ALSA card is added (aplay -l -L). I had try to append all possible params: port=0x220 to 0x25f irq=5,7,9 dma8=1,3 enable=1 but nothing and in dmesg/logs absolutely nothing is added. If I run mpg123, xine, ... on this like "default", the applications gets locket (CPU runs on 100%) and I have to kill them. What can I do ? How can I get ALSA driver snd-es1688 working ?
