problem with snd-hda-intel playing line in

Hi,

This might be a similar problem to what was just posted..

I have an ECS GF7100PVT-M3 (nvidia chipset) and am using the built in soundcard.  I am using alsa as a kernel module with support for IDT/Sigmatel and NVIDIA codecs.  I can get output fine; however, I can't seem to be able to play linein out of the speakers.  When I run alsamixer, the options look a little strange to me.. For playback, I don't have "Linein" or "Mic".  Under Record, it has channels, "Capture", "Capture 1", etc.  I've tried to set Input Source to be Linein, enable capture, and put the volume up on all of the channels but still no luck.
I' ve checked to make sure the signal into linein works when I boot in to windows.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks,
ed
