Has there been a resolution to this question? I've got the same card Landis McGauhey is talking about but I'm not sure whether he got his card to work in the end. I'm facing the same issue and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I tried applying this patch to alsa-driver-1.0.20 but the card still doesn't produce any sound.
