When i play the musik direcly to the defined "ALSA> PCM output" everything is working fine! How can I control the volume when> using "jack" and "ALSA". As I said you on the jack-devel mail list, it is not the job of ALSA to providevolume control for non existing hardware controls. If this card is like the ICE1724 audiophile 192, it have only one volumecontrol on the main output. Maybe that you are using the monitoring outputinstead, this output is for direct input monitoring only according to myaudiophile 192 manual. As for the other ALSA sliders, they are not volume controls but non workingvu-meters (or something like that). It is a shame for such fine cards, but Iguess that the fault is from the manufacturers that doesn't understand their owninterest : it is a world outside micro$oft based personal computers. Micro$oftworld domination is not complete, and never will be! You can ask the manufacturer of your card to release their specifications tothe ALSA team.
