After many hours of reading mailin list archives, playing with alsamixer,
speaker-test iecset, and kernel configuration i ended up here.
The problem is I can't get a single note from my av receiver connected to a
jetway NC62k ( or jnc62k) through HDMI.
I tried bitstreaming, i tried -Dplughw:0,3, but never heard anything. The av
receiver receives pcm audio correctly from a playstation3 running a powerpc
kernel.
