Re: ALC888 - SPDIF INPUT not working (alsa 1.0.19)

It is still not working with the latest ALSA driver - 19 february 2009 (and everything else from GIT snapshot directory). Also, I think the snd-hda-intel model's default is at "auto" so no need to force it in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file. I've send a bug ticket on alsa bug tracking system at https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=4407
If you guys have any idea, I'm here to try anything :)
Note: I tried on a different motherboard model (same brand giga-byte, model EG41) with the same sound chipset (ALC888) and the problem is exactly the same. I wonder if this problem is coming from Giga-byte or ALSA driver... I'm trying to solve it by logic but can't make it.
