Hello and Merry Christmas, i have a problem drivin my Subwoofer to work in my Asus-Notebook: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=7bf61ed1376cba91535723ac2a60e29fcbd7f396 Gentoo/Kernel-Alsa: Sound does strange things...^^Gentoo/Alsa-Driver: Sound works perfect, but without SubwooferWindows XP: same Show: Sound works without SubwooferVista native: also the same: Subwoofer does'nt worksVista/Asus-Driver: Subwoofer works, sound is great!! I'm also noticed, that the Balance-control only modifies both Channelsfrom loud to quiet and on headset-output i have noise interferences...so i think, its a problem with the mixer/model? Greetings from a nasty-weather germany,Thomas ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ !!Linux Distribution ││ !!------------------ ││ ││ Gentoo Base System release 1.12.11.1 ││ ││ ││ !!Kernel Information ││ !!------------------ ││ ││ Kernel release: 2.6.27-gentoo-r7 ││ Operating System: GNU/Linux ││ Architecture: i686 ││ Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9400 @ 2.53GHz ││ SMP Enabled: Yes │ ││ ││ !!ALSA Version ││ !!------------ ││ ││ Driver version: 1.0.18a ││ Library version: 1.0.18 ││ Utilities version: 1.0.18 ││ ││ ││ !!Loaded ALSA modules ││ !!------------------- ││ ││ snd_hda_intel ││ ││ ││ !!Soundcards recognised by ALSA ││ !!----------------------------- ││ ││ 0 [Intel ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel ││ HDA Intel at 0xf9ff8000 irq 22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------_______________________________________________Alsa-user mailing listAlsa-user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
