HDMI on Intel g35 now mostly working

Hello all,

I had the HDMI audio only on left channel reported in bug
#3754 on my Asus p5e-vm HDMI motherboard. That issue seems
to be fixed in driver 1.0.18. I'd have updated the bug but
#there is a capcha on registration.

Anyways, 2 channel HDMI works well all the way to 192khz.
Ac3 over HDMI is also working with mplayer -ac hwac3.
However, multichannel HDMI doesn't work. The left and
right channels play but cthe other channels remain silent.
I have a test ac3 stream for this which basically just says
"front left", "centre", "front right" and so on on the
various channels. mplayer -ac hwac3 presents it properly
but mplayer -ac a52 -channels 6 only indicates front left
and front right presence.

But this is mostly working now so a big thanks to whoever
fixed that single channel issue. If there is anything I
can do to provide more info on multichannel HDMI, let me
know but for now I'll just run my 6ch stuff through an ac3
encoder transport.

Shane
