Since telling you about this problem in the past, I was in a bad accident. While on my dear bicycle, a careless driver hit me and I was left with bad injuries and lots of pain-- I still hope to recover but have some vexing medical problems caused by the accident. So I really couldn't do much at all about fixing my broken sound-kppp combination. But now all is well and I can't explain it well since I did one thing before the accident and then something the other day and apparently the thing done recently reset the system so that both kppp (used for my dial-up Internet connection) and my sound system work together.
I just today ran the script told to me and to this list by stan. I don't know if the output is useful or not, but it's found at
