Unfortunately, the project I'm working on needs to also support an older motherboard that only has a intel-8x0 chip with 2 channels, hence the need for the PCI sound card. For card 1, the only multichannel option I get is surround40, which gets the front and rear speakers working, but no side or center channels. I'm not sure why the card is being detected as a CMI8738.
