Use the following to save the config
alsactl -f asound.card0 store 0
alsactl -f asound.card1 store 1
alsactl -f asound.card2 store 2

Then in a startup script use:
alsactl -f asound.card0 restore 0
alsactl -f asound.card1 restore 1
alsactl -f asound.card2 restore 2

And then make sure you distribute the asound.card0, asound.card1,
asound.card2 with your distro.
