E-MU 1212M - Status - Versions - S/PDIF

Hello,

a few questions regarding the E-MU 1212M PCI soundcard

1)
According to:
http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Vendor-Creative_Labs
and
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=emu

there seems to be two versions of this card. What is the difference
between
the two versions, and how can one tell the difference between them?
(That is,
when looking out to buy one, how to ascertain which version one is
getting.)

2)
According to the E-MU website the S/PDIF interface can handle a maximum
sample
rate of 96kHz. However, the user manual, see

http://www.emu.com/support/files/storage/1820_1.81_(EN).pdf

on page 108 states that the coaxial S/PDIF can do 192KHz.

Can anyone confirm that the coaxial S/PDIF can actually do 192kHz?

3)
What is the current status of S/PDIF out? Are any of the following
supported
at present? If so, which of them? (Provided the card itself can handle
the
higher sample rates, of course :-))

24 bit 44.1Khz
24 bit 88.2kHz
24 bit 96kHz
24 bit 176.4kHz
24 bit 192kHz
