dmesg |grep -i ich
[ 0.924000] PCI quirk: region 1000-107f claimed by ICH6 ACPI/GPIO/TCO
[ 0.924000] PCI quirk: region 1080-10bf claimed by ICH6 GPIO
[ 14.588000] iTCO_wdt: Found a ICH7-M TCO device (Version=2, TCOBASE=0x1060)

I don't see anything related with alsa there, but in messages I see for
example:

ALSA /usr/src/alsa/alsa-driver-1.0.15/pci/hda/../../alsa-kernel/pci/hda/hda_intel.c:576: hda_intel: azx_get_response timeout, switching to polling mode: last cmd=0x010f1c00

right now:
lsmod |grep -i hda
snd_hda_intel 293792 0
snd_pcm 80644 2 snd_hda_intel,snd_pcm_oss
snd_page_alloc 11656 2 snd_hda_intel,snd_pcm
snd_hwdep 10628 1 snd_hda_intel
snd 56708 9 snd_hda_intel,snd_pcm_oss,snd_mixer_oss,snd_pcm,snd_hwdep,snd_seq_oss,snd_seq,snd_timer,snd_seq_device

Thanks very much,
