alsa setup/usage problem

Hi All,

I don't know if this is the right list to ask a user level question about getting audio from my laptop.
I've a toshiba A215-S7413 laptop with realtek audio atleast that's what Toshiba website says in spec of this laptop. I'm going in rounds in making this card work with my linux distribution. I'm using latest Opensuse 10.3, x86-64 bit linux version.
Any kind of help is appreciated (other documents, or better the solution)
