[debian testing] problems with hdsp + hdspmixer

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I am experiencing very strange problems with a hdsp multiface card and hsdpmixer. Bascially, I am unable to route audio to the outputs using the mixer. I can see the meters in the middle row lighting up when a  source is connected, nevertheless I can get no audio to the headphone socket on the front of the unit (or to the analogue outs at all). I am using the following versions:

debian lenny
custom kernel 2.6.23-rt11
alsa-driver 1.0.15
alsa-firmware 1.0.15

Trying the card in Pure:Dyne reveals that this must be an issue with the newer kernel/alsa version, as its running fine with 2.6.21, rt and alsa 1.0.14rc2. Anyone any ideas why this doesn't work, or the same problem? If not, what could have done wrong?

Thanks,

Krgn
