Okay, the IRQ stops firing. Given that you had the same behaviour with two 
cards, I'll wait for the routeirq/noacpi thing results before attempting to 
comment further I guess.

If you want. It's a fairly busy list though and kept open -- it's expected 
that not everyone posting is going to be subscribed which is also the reason 
the "polite" thing to do is to keep people in CC (use "Reply To All") on 
most all linux-related mailinglists.
