Intel HD Audio on NF-M2 Board

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi, I have the subject board with on board audio.
use alsa in the kernel.
using the spdif output.
using mythtv

If I tell mythtv to passthrough dts and ac3 then I get a nasty screech sound.
If I I don't passthrough all sound is "normal" but I don't get surround.

I've followed all the howto's I can find and am at a loss for how to proceed.

System Info:

Gentoo, kernel 2.6.20-r5, alsa in kernel.

One dmesg:
hda_codec: Unknown model for ALC883, trying auto-probe from BIOS...
