Hi,
I've recently upgraded to Fedore Core 4 and to a newer version of alsa-lib (1.0.10-3.2). In the process, it seems that I've lost the ability to record in stereo. I can verify that stereo sound is playing back from line-in, and I can record in stereo in Windows. However, when I record using alsa (arecord, audacity, ardour) I get only the left channel. My alsamixer is configured with line, capture, and adc set to capture (see amixer output below). I've tried resetting my asound.state, I've changed my cs46xx.conf to use 'hw' for default capture instead of dsnoop, I've tried as many alsa mixer combinations as I could think of. But none of this seems to work, I still only have the left channel being captured. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening, and what I could do to resolve it? Any help is much appreciated!
