Hi, I have got hold of a couple of old Korg 1212 I/O sound cards I would like to use. I have not been able to run jack reliably so far; I only got more or less random crashes after anything from a few seconds to acouple of hours. I tried with various releases of Fedora Core (1, 5 and 6 so far), with their stock kernels and several kernel releases from PlanetCCRMA (versions ranging from heavily patched 2.4.22 to 2.6.20-rt), with stock or home-built ALSA drivers (versions 1.0.4 and up). I have not spent lots of time on this yet, but so far I have not been able to find evidence that anyone has actually gotten the driver to work on a reasonably recent system (say anything able to run recent releases of Ardour). I am willing to spend some time helping in debugging (mainly collecting data, as I am unable to write anything even remotely close tu usable code), but I would like to avoid spending time on this if it is hopeless. -- Arnaud ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
