ok, i think that i got now at least this part of the exercise:

here the kernel is compiled with alsa stuff as modules, that means that
kernel is using alsa from the alsa-driver!
if i would compile the kernel with alsa build-in, would not even need
the alsa-driver from alsa/debian!

did i got it?

another question i have, which can be easily answered (perhaps!) is,
what is the name of the alsa-libs when compiled from sources?
here the debian alsa-libs are called:

nowhiskey@murija2:~$ locate libasound
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_ctl_oss.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_ctl_oss.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_jack.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_jack.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_oss.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_oss.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_upmix.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_upmix.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_vdownmix.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_vdownmix.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate_best.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate.la
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate_linear.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate_medium.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate_order.so
/usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_rate_samplerate.so
/usr/lib/libasound.a
/usr/lib/libasound.la
/usr/lib/libasound.so
/usr/lib/libasound.so.2
/usr/lib/libasound.so.2.0.0

( here without the /share stuff)

cheers,
doc
